Our Favorite Airports

Book your flight to Puglia
Puglia has two airports that are easily accessible: in Bari and in Brindisi. Brindisi is the most southerly of the two airports – making it ideal for a holiday in the Salento (with gems such as Lecce, Ostuni and Gallipoli).

Flying to Bari or Brindisi is possible from Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Eindhoven, Düsseldorf / Weeze or Brussels / Zaventem and certainly does not have to be expensive. Search all the options with just one click: via Tix.nl you will find an overview of the cheapest flights to Bari and Brindisi.

How do you get from the airport to your destination in Puglia?
Both from Bari and Brindisi it is generally easiest to travel further to your holiday destination by rental car. You can rent a car at both airports, with Sunnycars.nl as our favorite.

To the center of Bari
Traveling from Bari airport to the city center? Then you can use the Tempesta Autoservizi shuttle service. This bus leaves approximately every hour and takes you from the airport to Bari train station in thirty minutes. A ticket costs € 4. A taxi to the center of Bari costs about € 30.

To the center of Brindisi
From Brindisi Airport you can travel further by bus to the center of the city. The so-called STP Brindisi departs approximately twice an hour and takes you to the city’s train station in ten minutes. A ticket costs € 1.50 and you can buy it from the driver.

From Brindisi station you can easily travel by train to, for example, Lecce or Taranto (look for train times and tickets on the Trenitalia website). A taxi to the center of Brindisi costs about € 20.

The Pugliairbus is a special shuttle service that takes you to Lecce (approx. 40 minutes) or Taranto (approx. 70 minutes). You can buy tickets at a kiosk at the airport. A ticket to Lecce costs € 7.50; to Taranto you pay € 6.50.
